The 2009 Indonesian NetRiders competition held on the 15th of October saw 125 teams compete, with each team consisting of two contestants.

1st place was awarded to Hendra Suwardy and Johanes Salim from Binus Center Kedoya. 2nd place was Dimas Yuwono and Lucky Meidyantoro, from the Department of Physics from the Institute Pertanian Bogor. 3rd place was given to Rangga Ugahari and Gatot
Sungkono, from Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia

“Through this competition, we gained ‘real world ‘experience and got to know our weaknesses so that we can prepare ourselves more for the challenge of the regional competition. Hopefully this year, Indonesia will do even better than last year in the Regional APAC NetRiders Competition” said Johanes, team captain of the 1st place winning team of the Indonesian NetRiders 2009 Challenge.
